FANS of Judge Judy since its premiere in 1996 will have to brace themselves for some sad news!…the show is officially coming to an end after 25 seasons. But fret not, 77-year-old Judy Sheindlin has some exciting news – she’s working on something new!
During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ – Sheindlin revealed that her hit show is coming to an end after a whole 25 years soon after 2020-2021 season is completed. Sheindlin, says to Ellen: “CBS [which distributes the show] sort of felt, I think, they wanted to optimally utilize the repeats of my program. Now they have 25 years of my reruns. What they decided to do is sell a couple of years’ worth of reruns.”
She continues to say that she’s not exactly leaving the television world forever, adding: “But I’m not tired, so Judy Justice will be coming out a year later.
