Jennifer Coolidge is back—and this time, she’s dodging gangsters instead of awkwardly flirting her way through high society. The 63-year-old Emmy-winning icon is leading the charge in the new crime comedy Riff Raff, and let’s just say, things get messy.
Jennifer is joined by a cast so stacked it feels like Hollywood’s version of a family reunion: Ed Harris (legend), Gabrielle Union (queen), Lewis Pullman (we stan), Miles J. Harvey (rising star alert!), Emanuela Postacchini (yes, glam), Michael Angelo Corvino (bad guy vibes?), Pete Davidson (yep, him), and Bill Murray (classic wildcard energy).
What’s the deal?
The movie follows Vincent, an ex-criminal who just wants a peaceful life, which is obviously not how movies work. He and his wife Sandy are enjoying some wholesome cabin time with their son DJ before he heads off to college.Cue sentimental dad moment.
But wait! Enter Rocco (Vincent’s estranged son), his ride-or-die girlfriend Marina, and Vincent’s ex-wife Ruth, because why not throw in a little ex-wife drama? They come crashing in with some super chill news: some not-so-friendly gangsters named Leftie and Lonnie are on their way, and it’s not to deliver a fruit basket.
Directed by a legend, written by another
Riff Raff is directed by Dito Montiel, who clearly knows his way around action-packed chaos, and written by John Pollono, who definitely threw some spicy dialogue in there.
The film hits theaters February 25, so mark your calendars, prep your best Jennifer Coolidge impression, and get ready for crime, comedy, and probably at least one scene where Pete Davidson looks confused.
