‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ star Jen Shah, 47, is being accused of orchestrating a massive telemarketing scam!

Jen and her assistant Stuart Smith were recently arrested for fraud in a telemarketing conspiracy to commit money laundering earlier this year. They have been accused, according to new court documents, of being “senior participants” in the scheme.

The court documents allege that both Jen and Stuart are “responsible for orchestrating the broader scheme and supplying the leads that sustained the operation.” “In particular, Jennifer Shah and Stuart Smith obtained leads directly from lead sources and provided them to, among others, coaching sales floors operated in Utah and Nevada by [other defendants].” Jen’s lawyer has stated: “After investigating for nearly ten years, and a 12-day trial in which Ms. Shah was never mentioned, the Government suddenly lobs this absurd claim. This is just their latest made-up allegation, and like all others, totally unsupported by evidence. The reality is — she is totally innocent.” Jen pleaded guilty to the charges and was released on a $1 million personal bond secured by $250,000 and two “financially responsible persons” had to sign in order for her to maintain continued release.
