32-year-old ‘Cats’ actress Taylor Swift has just earned a major recognition from streaming giant Spotify!
Swift has earned 9.1 billion streams over the past year on the platform, and therefore set a major record for ‘Most Streams’ for a female artist on Spotify! ‘Yonaguni’ rapper Bad Bunny, 27, earned the most streams for any artist with 10.1 billion streams last year in 2021.
Taylor’s records that did the best included her re-recorded albums ‘Fearless (Taylor’s version,’ and ‘Red (Taylor’s Version).’ ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ dominated Spotify upon release and broke several records including ‘Most Streamed Female Album’ on the first day. ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ also earned the second-largest streaming week for a female record with only Ariana Grande’s ‘Thank U Next’ beating it out with 307.1 million streams…CONGRATS TAYLOR!
