Lance Reddick, the man behind Charon the concierge in John Wick and Cedric Daniels in The Wire, has sadly passed away. Yep, you heard it right – passed on, kicked the bucket, shuffled off this mortal coil, you name it. He was only 60 years old!
Apparently, Lance’s body was found at his crib in Studio City, California, at around 9:30 in the morning on Friday, and it’s not clear what caused his untimely demise. Some sources say it was natural, but who knows what the truth is, right?
Now, this is where it gets really wild – Lance’s new movie, John Wick: Chapter 4, is set to be released in theaters next week on Friday, March 24, and the dude was supposed to appear on The Kelly Clarkson Show to promote it. I mean, talk about bad timing!
Just two days before he passed away, Lance was sharing photos on Instagram of him chilling at home with his furry friends. Little did he know, it would be his last post ever.
Our hearts go out to Lance’s family and friends during this tough time. Rest in peace, dude. You’ll be missed!
