70-year-old actress Bette Midler gave her fans a throwback treat today as she dressed up as her iconic character from the 1993 film HOCUS POCUS, Winifred!
Midler dressed up in the now well-known gear for her annual Hulaween Party earlier tonight. She recently spoke with Billboard Magazine, expressing her surprise that there hasn’t been a HOCUS POCUS 2. She says: “For the life of me, I can’t understand why there’s not a sequel.”
Adding: “You don’t get to see women doing slapstick too much, and in the movie you can see that we’re having a blast…All the shackles were off…and we were allowed to be as wild as we wanted to be. It was a perfect storm of fun.” Photos of Midler as Winifred below/above:
