Lacey plays Isabel Haynes, an elite-level holiday list inspector (yes, that’s her actual job) who gets assigned to evaluate a chaotic little gremlin—I mean 11-year-old—named Charlie Duncan. But UH OH! His dad is a single DILF named Jason (played by Walker, obvi) and this is where the engrams start piling up.
What begins as a simple inspection turns into a full-blown spiritual crisis. Does Isabel follow the Christmas algorithm (literally Hallmark’s version of the Tone Scale)? Or does she yeet the policy manual and audit her own heart??
There’s emotional growth. There’s snowfall. There’s Andrew Walker being aggressively lovable. And possibly a very hot kiss while fake snow flutters down.
