47-year-old ‘goop’ entrepreneur Gwyneth Paltrow is donating to coronavirus relief in a very Gwyneth Paltrow way! The ‘Contagion’ actress is donating a Calvin Klein dress that she wore to the 2000 Oscars, and says that she felt “it was a good one to donate because it’s end of the 90s,” which has definitely made a comeback!
Ax expected, fans have rushed to BLAST the star after her announcement, noting that the dress has always been rated as one of Paltrow’s worst-ever looks! Paltrow herself has even spoken illy of her look, and once said she thought she looked “okay.” One commentator wrote on her post: “Bid on a dress. Are you joking. Just help people. I can not applaud you. My uncle has started a covid challenge to GIVE to people in need. And you are talking about auctioning an old Calvin dress right now. Wake up!!” Another asked: “The dress you said was one of your worst, wasn’t Oscars worthy, and that you wore because you want to disappear that year?”
One commentator even pointed out the very obvious: “Donate money not a dress you ‘can’t’ wear anymore..” Take a look at Gwyneth Paltrow’s announcement below and let us know: DO YOU THINK GWYNETH PALTROW’S OSCAR DRESS WILL SAVE THOSE AFFECTED BY COVID-19???
