‘Game of Thrones’ has just unveiled a MAJOR CHANGE!
The HBO series has completely revamped their opening credits for its eighth and FINAL season. For reference, during the first 7 seasons of ‘GOT’ the opening credits only changed slightly to give viewers a clue where the episode would take place. The eighth season credits also ends at King’s Landing – down through the Red Keep before finishing at the Iron Throne – while the other seasons’ ended at a location from central Westeros.
Creative Director Angus Wall from Elastic (the production company behind the opening credits) explains the change: “The show is called Game of Thrones, and the Iron Throne is in King’s Landing. I don’t know that this is going to be the case or not, but the entire show is moving towards the Iron Throne. So it made sense to end there.” Watch the new ‘Game of Thrones’ credits below and let us know: DO YOU CARE? DO YOU WATCH GAME OF THRONES?
