Emojis are becoming a greater part of modern pop culture and now there’s even a movie about them!
A new trailer for an upcoming film titled ‘THE EMOJI MOVIE’ – yes really, has arrived! The story tells the tale of Gene (T.J. Miller, 35 ‘Silicon Valley’), who has a major problem: he has TOO MANY EXPRESSIONS!
Gene partners with a character called Jailbreak (Ilana Glazer from ‘Broad City) and Hi-5 (James Corden) and they go on a “APP-ADVENTURE” through a a teen’s phone! They discover apps like Spotify, Candy Crush, Dropbox, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. However a great threat is now facing the phone and the fate of the three friends is unsure as their world faces being deleted forever! ‘The Emoji’ movie arrives in theatres on August 4 2017.
