62-year-old talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres is opening up about the moment she found out she had the coronavirus!
DeGeneres returned to her talk-show today Wednesday January 13, after taking a hiatus at the beginning of this year due to the rise of COVID-19 in California. When the show opened, Ellen talked about finding out she had COVID by saying: “Obviously there are a lot of negative things going on, so instead I want to talk about something positive – my COVID test…it was positive. So yeah, I tested positive before the holidays and I’m fine now, I’m all good, I’m all clear.”
She continued: “I want to thank everyone who reach out with kind words of support. I wish I could have hugged each and everyone one of ya, but that’s dangerous and illegal, probably.” Ellen talks about the moment she found out she actually had COVID, saying: “I was in hair and makeup, getting my face powdered and my extensions put in, and my assistant Craig walked in and said, ‘You tested positive for COVID.’ And then everyone around me ran away! So I left the studio immediately and our COVID safety team had informed everyone that I had contact with.” Watch below and let us know what you think:…WOULD YOU RUN AWAY FROM ELLEN TOO???
