Disneyland Paris, which has been closed since October 2020, will remain closed up until April 2021 at the very least due to “prevailing conditions” regarding the Coronavirus aka COVID-19 in Europe!
The Park says in an official statement posted to their Twitter account: “Due to the prevailing conditions in Europe, Disneyland Paris will not reopen on the 13th of February as initially planned. If conditions permit, we will reopen on the 2nd of April 2021 and will welcome reservations from that date forward. Given the current context our plans continue to evolve, but please know that we will make every effort to share with you any updates as soon as it is possible.”
The European theme park first closed its doors in March 2020 due to COVID-19 and was set to reopen in July – however they shut down again in October 2021 while the President of France Emmanuel Macron put the country into lockdown! Other Disney parks including DisneyLand Hong Kong, DisneyLand California, DisneyLand Tokyo, Walt Disney World in Florida, and DisneyLand Shangai are currently open but operating with limited capacity.
