Charli D’Amelio is putting down roots on Broadway—someone get this girl a lease!
The 20-year-old TikTok queen-turned-stage star just announced she’s extending her run in & Juliet for the second time. That’s right, she originally signed up for a quick Broadway fling, but now? She’s in a full-blown committed relationship with the Sondheim Theatre.
Charli first stepped onto the Broadway stage in October, promising to dance her way through to January 19th. But then, like someone who just discovered unlimited breadsticks at Olive Garden, she said, “Nah, I’m staying,” and extended her run to April 6th. Now, she’s back at it again, declaring she’ll be gracing the stage all the way through September 7th!
In a statement that radiates pure excitement, Charli gushed:
“Performing in *& Juliet* has truly been a career highlight for me. I’m having so much fun every night, and getting to dance my heart out on stage with such talented performers is a dream come true. I’m so happy I can extend my stay at the Sondheim Theatre.”
Translation? She’s living her best Broadway life, and no one is prying that mic out of her hands anytime soon.
Charli spilled the tea about her extended stay during an appearance on TODAY with Jenna & Friends, where she basically admitted she’s emotionally attached to the show.
“I am obviously so in love with this show and everyone that’s involved in it, and I can’t leave so soon, so I had to just stay!” she exclaimed. “I’m extending until September, I’m so excited!”
