58-year-old ‘Meet Joe Black’ actor Brad Pitt just filed another lawsuit against his ex-wife Angelina Jolie regarding a business deal they made a while back.
Angelina and Brad both bought interest in the Chateau Miraval in 2008 and they got wed there in 2014 too. They then purchased the 35 room mansion and vineyard which was located on the property, and was also the source for their very profitable wine business.
Brad claims in his lawsuit that Angelina sold her stake in the company in October 2021 without his consent as he was also required to take part in the sale. Brad “claims that she sold her interest with the knowledge that the new owners would seek to control the business and undermine his own investment in the company that he helped develop.” Brad also states “that the sale deprives him of the right to use the residence as his private home and also robs him of the ability to oversee the company that he helped create. He says that he has continued to invest millions of dollars in Miraval even after Jolie stopped, greatly increasing the value of Miraval through his own efforts.” Pitt is now suing Angelina for an unspecified amount of damages because he wants the courts to declare her sales null and void.
