Hold on to your witch hats and grab a broomstick, because we’re about to dive into the spellbindingly hilarious world of the upcoming Marvel series, Agatha All Along! Yes, that mischievous marvel of magical mayhem, Agatha Harkness, is back and ready to cackle her way into our hearts this fall.
Leading this supernatural shindig is none other than Kathryn Hahn, the cackling queen from WandaVision herself. After teasing us like a cat with a mouse all year, Marvel finally dropped the title and release date. And let’s just say, it’s going to be more magical than pulling a rabbit out of a hat – it’s pulling a whole witch out of New Jersey!
Marvel’s head honcho of streaming, TV, and animation, Brad Winderbaum, spilled the beans (and probably a potion or two) on the Official Marvel Podcast. Brad, who we suspect might be a wizard in disguise, gave us the lowdown on what to expect from Agatha’s solo gig.
“Agatha is really fun, but it’s really scary. And it gets quite dramatic,” he confessed, probably while wringing his hands like a classic villain. “She’s an amazing anti-hero. It lures you in with the fun of Halloween, and before you know it, you’re crying.”
Yes, Brad, we all know the feeling. One minute you’re bobbing for apples, and the next, you’re sobbing into your candy corn.
“It’s a Marvel brand of scary. It’s a Halloween show,” Brad continued, sounding like he’s auditioning for a crypt keeper role. “There are deadly stakes in this series. It’s a fun ride, but it’s a dangerous one.” So, basically, it’s like riding a roller coaster in the dark while being chased by a zombie clown. Fun times!
Joining the cauldron of chaos alongside Kathryn are a spellbinding cast including the legendary Patti LuPone, the magically mysterious Joe Locke, the enchantingly eerie Aubrey Plaza, the spooktacular Sasheer Zamata, the bewitching Ali Ahn, and Debra Jo Rupp, who’s reprising her WandaVision role because, well, you can never have too many witches in one show, right?
So, mark your calendars, stock up on eye of newt, and get ready for Agatha All Along to cast its spell on your screens this fall. It’s going to be a wickedly wild ride!
