56-year-old former ‘Dance Moms’ superstar Abby Lee Miller has just filed a lawsuit against the Hampton Inn & Suits by Hilton for a whopping $8.5 MILLION!
The suit comes after Abby alleged that one of the hotel’s doors fell on her…Abby says that she was staying at one of the Hampton Inn & Suites locations in Santa Monica, California, when she was leaving a bathroom and her wheelchair got stuck which caused the door to fall on her! Oh dear…
Abby says that more than 300 pounds fell on her head and shoulders, thereby trapping her in her wheelchair for “six to twelve minutes.” She also alleges in the suit that guests at the hotel did not offer to help her despite her cries, but staff members finally lifted her up off the floor later. Abby also claims that hotel staff “ignored” her multiple times and did not aid her “accessibility needs when she contacted the front desk for assistance.”
