If you live in NYC and have been to any of the Grand Hotels/or don’t but happen to follow one of the Tribeca Grand’s, Soho Grand’s, or Grandlife’s social media accounts then you undoubtedly recognize the name Steven Rojas.
Rojas happens to be the director of social media at all the glitzy Grand hotels in NYC and was a former fashion director at Archetype Showroom.
He happens to balance a seemingly busy work life with a calendar full of events and soirees, and still managing to look exceptionally dapper all the while.
What strikes me personally about Rojas is how effortlessly he manages to pull off a very put-together sense of style.
It’s as if he clearly doesn’t spend hours thinking about what he’s going to wear but when the clothes are on his body they look so well put together you’d wonder if he’d just walked off a photo-shoot at Nylon.
If there’s anything that’s clear about Rojas it’s that he’s a man who’s always dressed for the occassion which therefore puts him in our first ever style spotlight.
In 2010 Rojas did a little interview with Blackbook, and it in he explained how he would dress differently for a day out versus a night out on the city:
Day outfit would consist of a combination of blazers, ties, bow ties, khakis and a button down shirt. I just got the ACL x Steven Alan white button down and I love it. I have a sick obsession with white button down shirts and white sneakers. I also wear a lot of denim (obsessed with my Surface to Air jeans) with a new pair of Converse or penny loafers, V-neck sweaters (I love my Oak deep-V sweaters and my J. Crew cashmere blend sweaters). For night I usually pick a LnA V-neck T-shirt in white or black, with a leather jacket (in love with my Surface to Air x Kings of Leon jacket) and jeans with a skinny fit. My sneakers are usually Converse x Comme.
Take a look at some photos of Rojas below to gawk at his exceptional style and also note his seemingly unemotional face in almost every photo, mannequin much?
No problemo, me likey very much.
