It goes without question that Steve Jobs, one of the co-founders of tech giant Apple, was one of the most iconic figures of the tech world and our time.
For years, we’ve seen him deliver keynote after keynote in his signature black polo and blue jeans.
We were filled with great sadness and grief to learn, within the past 24 hours, that Jobs had in fact passed away due to health complications – a speculation of the public ever since his resignation as Apple’s CEO on August 24 2011.
“We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today,” Apple said in a statement on their website.
“Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.”
Apple.com currently have a message dedicated to the memory of Jobs on their homepage:

Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose.
Design is not what it looks like. Design is how it works.
I want to put a ding in the universe
Being the richest man in the cemetery does not matter to me. Going to bed saying we’ve done something wonderful, that’s what matters to me.
You can’t just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they’ll want something new.
