Kim Kardashian Voted the Most Annoying Celebrity of 2011

Reality television star and E! Television’s main money-maker Kim Kardashian has been voted by participant’s in Parade Magazine’s Pop Culture 2011 Poll as the most annoying celebrity of the year.

Comes as a surprise considering the world’s seemingly unquenched fascination with almost everything she does – from getting butt x-rays to her marriage to Kris Humphries which became an all-out special on E!

“Famous for being famous, Kim… has been inescapable, with her recent wedding and honeymoon reported just about everywhere,” writes Parade, ”Perhaps all that exposure is why she earned the title of Most Annoying Celebrity in our poll, with 29 percent of the vote.”

Runners-up in the list included former Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen who garnered second place with 27% of readers’ votes and our favourite little munschkin from Jersey Shore, Snooki, who earned 21% of the vote.

Lindsay Lohan, much to my surprise, was only voted in by 16% of all readers; Donald Trump was voted by 5% and Brad Womack got 1%.

On a more positive note with regards to the poll, former Harry Potter star and now Oxford student Emma Watson was voted by 79% of all readers as the most likely to succeed.
