Hype Machine can be truly great sometimes, and today was just one of those days.

I was listening to all the popular tracks on the site and came accross this gem, it’s the Le Matos Andy Carmichael Remix of Coeur De Pirate’s single Comme Des Enfants.

I instantly fell in love and have been endlessly looping through this track for the past 72 hours without tire.

If you don’t know who Coeur De Pirate is: meaning “pirate heart” in English, it’s the stage name for Béatrice Martin – a Canadian singer and songwriter from Montreal.

The song Comme Des Enfants is off her 2008 self-titled album and the remix you should have fallen in love with above was done quite a while back as well; I couldn’t find the exact date online but most likely 2009-2010.

Also for your interest, Coeur De Pirate aka Béatrice had once been a nude model for the alt-porn website GodsGirls while still being a minor using just a shortened version of her real name, Bea.
